Poise

This is a piece I did for a murder mystery party that my wife threw. I found it while we were moving, and, as we've been rather occupied, I haven't had much time to draw, and I figured that this certainly qualified for the entry this week!

I remember getting a little too into character at this party, and embarrassing my wife...apparently, I didn't have much in the way of poise then.

Thats a beautiful drawing, I like that style. I always wanted to host a murder mystery party but never managed to come up with a good crime-story. Did you/you wife made up the story for yourselves?

Ohmigosh! I just found our costumes while we were moving...

Malte, yea, we did write it! We had everyone make up their characters and write the back story and I turned it into a murder mystery game. The theme was "Superheroes" so everyone got to write their character & their alterego, too. After the first round we all changed into our superhero costumes. Matt painted a portrait of the man who was murdered.

Well, I'm sure glad you've learned poise in the last 9 months, Matty. :) That picture is still pretty frakkin' amazing...
